Field Service Technician

We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to repair, maintain, install and remove coffee, water, and vending and soft drink fountain equipment.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Installation/pick-up of equipment.  Drives company vehicle to customer site to perform required tasks.

With direction from customer and/or route person, identifies proper placement of equipment.

Installs or removes equipment, utilizing plumbing and electrical skills where applicable.

Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.

Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.

Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.

Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.

Repairs or replaces defective parts.

Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.

Lubricates and cleans parts.

Starts devices to test their performance.

 

Qualifications:

 

High School diploma or General Education degree (GED).

Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years related experience in HVAC, ROI, Electrical, or small appliance repair.

Must have excellent safety practices.

Familiarity with electrical and mechanical fundamentals.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must have an acceptable driving record.

Valid Driver’s License.

Knowledge of plumbing and electrical fundamentals.

Must have outstanding customer service skills.

Limited or occasional overnight travel.

Must frequently lift and or move up to 35 pounds.  May occasionally lift and or move up to 86 pounds (with assistance of lift or by two persons) and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 200 pounds (with assistance of lift and by two persons).

Route Driver

This position requires combination of distributing and merchandising Pepsi beverage products as a Pepsi-Sales Route Delivery Driver.

 

 

  1. Delivery of beverage product to retail businesses including convenience stores.
  2. Deliver beverage product and execute all beverage promotions.
  3. Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
  4. Merchandise rotation.
  5. Stock beverage product on store shelves, displays, coolers, and vending equipment.
  6. Build beverage displays, set-up promotional materials such as pricing, signs, and banners.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years or older due to insurance requirements.
  • Must pass pre-employment and random physical/DOT Drug Screen.
  • Must have valid driver’s license, with a good driving record.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment and random criminal history background check.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs with the ability to carry beverage product continuously with repeated bending and lifting.
  • Must be able to work hand-held computer to generate invoices.
  • Daily settlement of accounts required, strong math skills required.
  • Must be available to work M-F as early as 5:00 AM or earlier if needed. Holidays and Weekends are sometimes required.
  • Excellent attendance is required.
  • Class B Driver’s License.
  • CDL A is preferred, Will train right candidate willingly to obtain CDL A/B.

Warehouse / Operations

Responsibilities and Duties:

 

  1. Arrives at work on time.
  2. Perform maintenance & safety checks of the forklift and pallet jack in the beginning of the shift to ensure that it operates properly.
  3. Cleans up the front shell area.
  4. Cleans damage and out-of-date section.
  5. Builds pallets for the Sales Dept.
  6. Builds loads for the route trucks.
  7. Builds loads for hot-shots.
  8. Cleans warehouse when building job is done.
  9. Helps with customers.
  10. Cleans forklift and pallet jack according to the weekly requirement.
  11. Communicates with Warehouse Manager/Floor Supervisor on all aspects of warehouse operation, including:

Any safety/quality/inventory issues.

When equipment is malfunctioning.

Before leaving workstation during breaks and at the end of the shift.

 

  1. Performs all tasks necessary in order to obtain desired warehouse operation goal.

The job description of a Warehouse Builder may change and they could be asked to perform duties outside of this document.

Production

Water Operator

A 3 and 5 gallon operator is an employee who operates all of the machineries to produce the 3 and 5 gallon water bottles, including the bottle washer, filler, capper, cap hopper and conveyors.

 

The responsibilities of a 3 and 5 gallon operator below are mandates and must be followed. They include but not limited to:

  • Turn on machinery at start-up and turn them off at the end of shift.
  • Perform maintenance checks of all equipment prior to the production run.
    • Ensure that all of the equipment is at correct settings.
    • Ensure washer, filler and capper do not have any obstructions or misaligned change parts
    • Notify maintenance of any issues that need to be addressed
  • Obtain and load the correct size caps and color into the cap hopper.
  • Load the correct labeled bottles onto the conveyor and bottle washer.
  • Perform and document Food Safety and Quality checks, including odor checks, foreign object check and making sure that the cleaning concentration is at the correct level and has no carry over.
  • Continuously monitor the production line, making sure that bottles are filled and capped properly.
  • Place the expiration and production date code on the bottle.
  • Clean up, organize and sanitize area after production run.
  • Communicate with the Production Supervisor on all aspects of production including:
    • Any safety/quality issues.
    • When equipment is malfunctioning or not running up to speed and efficiency.
    • Before leaving workstation during breaks and the end of the shift.
  • Perform all tasks necessary in order to obtain desired production goal and minimize down time.
